Mobile Suit Gundam: THE ORIGIN Vol 23 The Final

Finally read the last volume of Mobile Suit Gundam: THE ORIGIN. I remembered buying volume 1 from Comics Connection at Jurong Point Shopping Center and reading it on the bus on the way to my university for lectures. That was like in year 2002? Now more than ten years later, the last volume of the series, number 23 is completed, a closure to a great story and incredible art by manga artist Yoshikazu Yasuhiko (安彦良和).

Recently, there are news that an anime series based on this manga will be released in 2014/2015. The first Gundam anime was shown in Japan in 1979, the year that I was born. Thus Gundam always has a significant place in my heart and next year, we will be celebrating our 35th Anniversary together!

Now let me dig out volume 1 and read this great story again!
